Antique Textiles : A very rare & large 17th century (?) floral stumpwork with centre piece, raised embroidery on silk.

A very rare and large probably 17th century floral Stumpwork embroidery on silk
with a floral border and central panal - designs look Jacobite of origin

Circa : probably 17th century

33.1/2 inches (85cm) height x 24 inches (61cm) width approx

As expected there is wear to the item with a 'L' shaped rip to the silk (please study
images carefully of ask questions) - also the double sided glass mount is cracked
(we are selling this as found leaving it to the buyer to reframe/reglaze etc...Viewing
welcome NW6/London - the silk backing has stains and wear and would benefit
being remounted - suitable for knowledgeable dealers/collectors/museums
