Vintage / estate 18carat yellow gold, enamel and diamond pave set X-ring. Made Tiffany & Co by their most illustrious French designer, Jean Schlumberger. US size 5. Weighs 8.5grams. Shank of ring in gleaming, custom Royal Blue enamel with cabochon finish, between a border of contrasting gold on either side. The top is a dome created by crossing, s-curves, forming an X, almost the signature symbol of Jean Schlumberger, set very tightly with 28 brilliant cut diamonds. A specialist graded them as VS1 to VS2 in colour and grade GHI. The pave setting is exceptional - even in the hugely magnified ''photos. This was very likely a custom made ring and the quality of workmanship and materials is exceptional. The ultimate in sheer luxury and elegance.
