Vintage carved celadon jade / jadeite necklace. Made in China, about 50 years ago. Measures 30 inches long. Necklace made of a magnificent jade that has a luminocity and lustre seldom seen. The beads are of two sizes: two small beads seperate a larger, carved bead. The end on one side has a celadon jade ring, while the other has a long-necked dragon that fits through the ring, thus clasping the necklace. Easy and effective. The necklace is a particularly lovely one because the jade is such a pretty colour and has the unusual glow about it. Good condition.
