These superb quality medals, made of gold gild bronze, are struck with remarkable details. We were not able to find any information about the maker or the time they were made. I suppose they were restrike, during the middle of the 20th century in France ,since one of the medals is dated 1969, most likely by the original dies, possibly they were made in limited edition, on some Napoleonic anniversary. We acquired these medals, together with other Napoleonic artifacts, from one of the most important Canadian collections of Napoleonic, struck, memorabilia.

CONDITION: In good condition with very well preserved gold gilding.

Dimensions of the case: 42 cm x 13.5 x 5.7 cm (16 1/2 in x 10 7/8 in).
