You are bidding on a great carved three seat bench with cane back and seats. It has floating puttes with flat faces on each section and the cross sections on the bottom. There are carved floral and leaf designs that frame the oval cane and barley twists that accent all of the sections. Barley twist came to England in the First half of the 17th century during the reign of Charles 11. The arms are very graceful . All of the cane is original and in excellent condition. The measurement are: 62" long x 17 3/4" deep x 48" high. This is a beautiful antique show piece. NR
