Letter opener made from teak wood from the WWI ship, H.M.S. Birmingham, of Dogger Bank and Jutland fame. Measures 27 cm long and 3 cm wide at the handle, tapering towards the point. Bevelled, with brass plaque with above information. Very good condition. The "Birmingham" was scrapped in 1931.
