Extremely fine authentic ancient Egyptian late period, 26th-30th Dynasty circa 664-332 B.C. turquoise glazed faience composition amulet, depicting the goddess Taweret with the loop at the back for suspension.
The Hippo headed goddess Taweret was the ancient Egyptian goddess of childbirth and fertility.
