This 19th Century French gilded mirror is absolutely stunning. Featuring an elaborately carved wooden frame, with free standing scrolling floral wreaths and acanthus leaves with a center shell design. Very similar to the Louis XV style. Fine quality water gilded patina and beveled glass that are original to the piece, c. 1870. Cushion type architecture, in excellent overall condition. Fabulous for any refined design.
