Antique Gilded Iron Canterbury C. 1910 Italy Gilded iron rack. A canterbury is a small music stand or a plate and cutlery stand for supper parties without servants: in form a deep, partitioned tray on legs. The Bishop of Canterbury first gave orders for these pieces. This canterbury measures 18 1/2 inches high, 16 inches wide and 12 inches deep. Weight is approximately 15 lbs. Wood bottom. In excellent original condition. No imperfections whatsoever. Today, it is used as a striking magazine rack.
