Retro Art Glass : Scottish Strathearn Tulip Lamp VASART / MONART - Mid Century

A wonderful large and vibrant coloured Retro Scottish Strathearn/ Vasart / Monart
Tulip Lamp with millefiori canes; nice to find one which is brightly coloured and this will look fantastic
when lit - wire cut and will need re-wiring (we can do this for you at cost if you ask).

Good Vintage Condition - needs rewiring as mentioned earlier

Please note that the base is pinched up to allow the wire to pase underneath which was done
with tongs during the manufacturing process (the Perthshire reproductions of 1980's
have a channel or groove ground underneath to do the same job). I am also including
an image of the base with the holder removed to allow you see the fitting hole. Please satisfy yourself that our research is correct and our translation of the research is also correct
