This is an extremely rare & important 18th century exceptionally strong and very bold tiger maple twelve drawer fluted corner columns with lamb tongue returns bracket base New England chest on chest. Attributed Origin: Rural Connecticut With its original surface & original hardware. Choice mellow nut brown amber patina. In a superb state of preservation. Recently acquired from a client east of Brattleboro, Vermont who purchased it in 1935. It has been owned privately since 1935 until Equinox Antiques & Fine Art discovered it on a house call and purchased it privately from the client. The photographs on the website does not demonstrate the exceptional bold tiger maple nor its choice mellow patina. Additional photographs will be taken and can be forwarded upon request.
