For Sale is a Bronze Riser made for a replacement part for Tiffany Studios lamp bases. The actual size of the riser is 4 1/2" but the actual shade riser size is 3 3/4". This is a large shade riser! This means it would raise the shade above the ball that house the electrical arms 3 3/4". This was a simple means of raising the shade to properly fit a Tiffany Shade to the Base where the Cluster Ball housing the arms and sockets with light bulbs in them. The Bronze riser has a wonderful Verdi/Green Brown Patina. It displays the male thread on the top where the Shade Wheel would screw down on. The riser is also tapped to receive a 8/32 Stem thread. This is the thread that came out of the bottom of the Heat Cap. The shade would sit on the wheel and you would lock the shade to the base by screwing the cap into the riser. This was a wonderfully engineered feature of Tiffany Studios lamps. You could actually turn the base upside down and the shade wouldn't fall off. This riser will only fit a base that has a ball tapped to receive 1"-18 Thread in the cluster and 1/8" IPS on the top. Do not attempt to use this on any other as it will more than likely strip the threads in the ball of cluster. This Riser is in newly produced and is in excellent unused condition. This riser can also work in other period lamps made by Duffner & Kimberly, Gorham, Bradley & Hubbard, Chicago Mosaic, Wilkinson and so many others. For Sale is a Replacement Heat Cap and Wheel made especially for Original Tiffany Studios, New York shades that require this size. The cap and wheel has a wonderful Tiffany style Verdi Patina. The base metal is Brass that has a brown patina with Green applied. The inside diameter of the wheel is 4 9/16" and the outside bottom diameter is 5 1/4". The Heat Cap has an outside diameter of 5 1/2". This Cap and Wheel display a wonderful and Earthy Verdi Green Patina. This combination was designed for Tiffany Studios lamps that were usually 20" to 24" in diameter or have an opening in the top or aperture in the top of the shade that is between 4 9/16" to 5 7/16". You can use this combo on other early manufacturers shades such as Wilkinson, Duffner & Kimberly, Unique, Bradley + Hubbard, Handel, Pairpoint, Miller, Pittsburgh as long as their opening is the same. This combination is designed to be hard mounted to any base that has a 3/8" pipe for the wheel to screw down on. The shade then sits on the wheel and the cap with a 8/32" thread locks the shade to the base when you screw the cap into the reducer which sits in the middle of the wheel. The quality level is that of Tiffany Studios, New York quality. So if you have an original Tiffany shade that requires the use of this cap and wheel and have been unable to find an original setup look no further!! This looks exactly like the real deal! The base metal is Brass that was copper plated and a Green Patina Applied. These would be known a Gilt Bronze. The inside diameter of the wheel is 4 3/16" and the outside diameter is 4 11/16".
