Antique Villeroy & Boch floor vase, vase, in wonderful condition!
38 cm high, hand-painted birds with red tips on a cream-colored background, on a blossoming cherry tree branch, in the company of dragonflies and butterflies.
Thick-walled, completely intact, traces of wear visible on the rim gilding and cracks in the glaze in just a few places.
The sign was used from 1887 to 1934 in the Dresden factory. In addition to the seal, there is also a printed form number and serial number. Its designer has not been clearly identified, but it may still probably be a design that predates the era of the art deco ceramic designer Gustav Partz (1884-1957).
