Obverse: Pearl diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Emperor Valens facing right. DN VALENS PER F AVG
Reverse: Emperor Valens depicted standing facing right towards Nike on a globe who is in the act of crowning him with a laurel wreath. In the opposite hand he holds a labarum. Cross in left field. RESTIVTOR REIPVBLICAE. ANTS in exergue.
Scalloped edges on both sides. Found in Bethlehem. Slight wear but in very good condition.
